We were invited to be part of the FEMALE PEACE PALACE, a joint project between the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Monacensia im Hildebrandhaus.

We (Angela Aux and Su Steinmassl) read Annette Kolb’s German-French letters, her novels, essays and private correspondence in the Monacensia archive in Hildebrandhaus. This inspired us to imagine a futuristic vision on a feminist exoplanet in the year 2222.

Daneben ein Nachbar. Vorbeifließende Augenblicke.
Ängste, Träume, Trauma und am Ende wieder am Anfang?
Ein 30-minütiger Bewusstseinsfilm, der Erinnerung und Wahrnehmung des Betrachters verunsichert und hinterfragt.

A woman, in her twenties, between lost memories and captured moment snippets in an empty white room. Looking for the unknown in a photo store, which turns into a cinema of memories. Obsessive thoughts and sleepless nights, suppressed in the unconscious. In addition, a neighbour.

Fears, dreams, trauma, and in the end back where it all began?
